Stocks and Precious Metals Charts - Metals Rally Higher

"We are slow to master the great truth that even now Christ is, as it were, walking among us, and by His hand, or eye, or voice, bidding us to follow Him.  We do not understand that His call is a thing that takes place now.  We think it took place in the Apostles' days, but we do not believe in it; we do not look for it in our own case.

God's presence is not discerned at the time when it is upon us, but afterwards, when we look back upon what is gone and over.  The world seems to go on as usual.  There is nothing of heaven in the face of society, in the news of the day.  And yet the ever-blessed Spirit of God is there, ten times more glorious, more powerful than when He trod the earth in our flesh."

John Henry Newman

"It is easy to get drunk with hate.  Hate is not creative, only love is creative. These sufferings will not cause us to crumble but will help us, more and more, to become stronger.  They are necessary—together with the sacrifices of others—so that the ones who come after us may be happy.”

Maximilian Kolbe

"Kolbe looked directly and intently into the eyes of those entering the cell.  Those eyes of his were always strangely penetrating.  The SS men couldn’t stand his glance, and used to yell at him, Schau auf die erde, nicht auf uns!  Kolbe was a psychic trauma, a shock for the SS men who had to bear his look, a look that hungered not for bread, but to liberate them from evil."

Bruno Borgowiec, fellow prisoner at Auschwitz

Gold and silver continued to move higher.

I am starting to consider the next targets should they break out and be confirmed.

Stocks were listless early but rallied strongly after the very dovish stance of the Fed in their afternoon message.

Unlike gold and silver they did not go out on the highs.

The US Dollar DX continued to roll over, looking for support around the 90 level.

We are prepared for a significant nor'easter this evening with high winds and deep snows.

We must also prepare ourselves to not fall into the trap of judging others, and harshly, in order to blind ourselves to the great failings of our own hardened hearts.

This pridefulness and scorn for others is the great falling away of our age. one of the great snares of the high minded ideologues, the leaven of the Pharisees.

Prepare yourself first, and make yourself acceptable, showing mercy and love to your brothers and sisters, and judging them not before you have washed your own self clean.

Then you may receive the three great gifts, of repentance, forgiveness, and thankfulness from God.

And from this will flow all your joy and happiness, peacefulness and contentment, now and forever.

Have a pleasant evening.
