Stock And Precious Metals Charts - Risk On - Wall Street Says Not To Worry About Anything

“Dogma gave every man importance only in so far as the tribe was important and he was a member of the tribe.  If the good had been twice as good and the bad only half as bad, I still ought to have seen it.  But I didn't want to see it, because I would have then had to think about the consequences of seeing it, what followed from seeing it, what I must do to be decent.”

Milton Mayer, They Thought They Were Free

"The wealth of another region excites their greed; and if it is weak, their lust for power as well.  Nothing from the rising to the setting of the sun is enough for them. Among all others only they are compelled to attack the poor as well as the rich.  Plunder, rape, and slaughter they falsely call empire; and where they make a desert, they call it peace."

Tacitus

"If we can save the Banks, we can save the world."

Greta Thunberg

Not one thing has changed.

Except that greed and gullibility are enhancing the conscious mispricing of risk, again.

Roll out the smoke and mirrors, get everyone all excited about nonsense, rewind the narratives and slogans, and let's do it all over again.

All is well in the United States of Amnesia.

Have a pleasant evening.

Matt Taibbi, Katie Halper, and Jimmy Dore: Why Is the Media So Bad

"Always fight for progress and reform, never tolerate injustice or corruption, always fight demagogues of all parties, never belong to any party, always oppose privileged classes and public plunderers, never lack sympathy with the poor, always remain devoted to the public welfare, never be satisfied with merely printing news, always be drastically independent, never be afraid to attack wrong, whether by predatory plutocracy or predatory poverty.”

Joseph Pulitzer, Retirement address

"Day by day the money-masters of America become more aware of their danger, they draw together, they grow more class-conscious, more aggressive.  The [first world] war has taught them the possibilities of propaganda; it has accustomed them to the idea of enormous campaigns which sway the minds of millions and make them pliable to any purpose.  American political corruption was the buying up of legislatures and assemblies to keep them from doing the people's will and protecting the people's interests; it was the exploiter entrenching himself in power, it was financial autocracy undermining and destroying political democracy."

Upton Sinclair, The Brass Check

"It’s not just political spin, however, that explains the rose-colored coverage [in the media]. Another explanation is that the media is plain stupid — quick to accept guidance from economists on Wall Street, for example, who have a vested interest in making everything wonderful."

John Crudele, Americans Have Not Gotten a Raise In 16 Years

"In 1983, 50 corporations controlled most of the American media, including magazines, books, music, news feeds, newspapers, movies, radio and television.  By 1992 that number had dropped by half.  By 2000, six corporations had ownership of most media, and today five dominate the industry: Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch's News Corporation, Bertelsmann of Germany and Viacom."

Independent Lens, Democracy on Deadline

"The elite want to keep us fighting left and right, so we don't pay attention to the top-down."

Jimmy Dore

Stocks and Precious Metals Charts - Prowls Like a Roaring Lion - Empire of Lawlessness

"The more people rationalize cheating, the more it becomes a culture of dishonesty. And that can become a vicious, downward cycle. Because suddenly, if everyone else is cheating, you feel a need to cheat, too."

Stephen Covey

"The ultimate purpose of crime is to establish an endless empire. It seeks a state of complete insecurity and anarchy, founded upon the tainted ideals of a world thought doomed to annihilation.

When humanity, subjugated by the terror of crime, has been driven mad by fear and horror, and when chaos has become the supreme law, then the time for the empire of lawlessness will have come."

Friedrich Rudolf Klein-Rogge, Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse

"Be not deceived, for God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, so shall he reap."

Galatians 6:7

"As in the past so in the future, the wrong we have done, thought, or intended will wreak its vengeance on our souls, no matter whether we turn the world upside down or not."

Carl Jung

"How terrible it will be for those who betray him. It would be far better for them if they had never been born!”

Matthew 26:24

Stocks paused today in their magnificent flight to bubbledom.

The safe havens were hit once again, although this time much less vigorously.

Nothing has changed. Not one thing.

What has been hidden is being revealed, slowly.

Most will not see, because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts.

Are the lamps beginning to go out over England?

Here is more courage and personal sense of duty than most of the US Congress, particularly but not only the GOP and the Democratic leadership, have shown in years, in their shameful and craven deference to the moneyed interests, and the overreach of the imperial presidency.

If the lights went out in the US, would anyone even notice?
"I was told Epstein 'belonged to intelligence' and to leave it alone."

Alexander Acosta, former US Labor Secretary
Here is a brief video overview of the original coverup of Epstein's child sex-trafficking for the likely purpose of political favors and blackmail.

Have a pleasant evening.

Jeffrey Epstein: His Accomplices, His Victims, His Powerful and Possibly Official Entanglements

"Yet, as this report will show, all of these rings — and more — were connected to the same network that involved key figures linked to the Reagan White House and linked to Roy Cohn — revealing the true scope of the sordid sexual blackmail operations and sex rings that involved the trafficking of children within the U.S. and even in Central America for their exploitation by dangerous and powerful pedophiles in the United States.

Appalling for both the villainous abuse of children itself and the chilling implications of government by blackmail, this tangled web of unsavory alliances casts a lurid light on the political history of the United States from the Prohibition Era right up to the present day and the Age of Trump, a fact made increasingly clear as more and more information comes to light in relation to the Jeffrey Epstein case."

Whitney Webb, Too Big to Fail: Government By Blackmail

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Ephesians 6:12
